Ekasila Foundation USA is organization exempt under IRC Section 501 (c) (3) is classified as public charity. Donors can deduct contributions they make to Ekasila under IRC Section 170.
The organization has been establised by 4 friends who originally hail from Warangal, Telangana, India. The best alternative name for Warangal is Ekasila Nagaram, and hence our organization is named as Ekasila Foundation USA. The entire city of Warangal was carved out of a single rock, hence the name Orukallu (Ekasila Nagaram in Sanskrit).
The goal of this program is to help children in Government Schools (in USA and India) to learn the English language without fear, and assist all students in improving their writing and reading skills, become creative thinkers, and resourceful learners by providing them with their own study materials and books.
2013 - Decided to establish the organization.
2014 - Organization has been established with state of Texas and obtained Federal tax exempt status.
2015 - Ekasila Foundation USA grows to helping various schools in USA and India.
